Documentation

The Unit Converter Add-in for Excel is free software and comes with complete documentation to guide you through installation and use.  We welcome feedback.  If you have questions or find gaps, please let us know so that we can correct the deficiency promptly.  There are also example spreadsheets included with the download to help you get started.

Our documentation comes in three main sections.

  1. Installation and set-up guide. How to download and install the add-in so that it works with your version of Excel, including a section for Quick Start for Excel experts or folks already familiar with this process.
  2. Frequently Asked Questions. The most common issues in a convenient FAQ format.
  3. User Manual. A complete review of all the functions, units, dimensions and functions available within the add-in.
 

Did you know...

The ancient unit of length known as the cubit is based on the length of a worker's forearm from elbow to thumb, and is the most commonly refered to historical measure of length in the Western hemisphere. With no practical way to standardize this distance, great variance exists between the lengths of cubits from job site to job site.
